these are a few of our hunting trip pictures. it was really snowy until the last day. everyone had left but us and my parents. we had a fun time camping even though it was wet and cold.

Colton lost his first tooth!

then we started Soccer Season. he is playing U7 this year and loving it. His team is undeafeted at this point and we are about half way through the games.

Vaccination Exemption

having a girl...

is so different than the boys. she is really doing some fun girlie things lately! she has been pretending to do her make up, taking care of her little lambie or any baby she get's to see, putting on different shoes every few minutes and love's to brush her teeth and hair to be pretty! she has even developed quite a girlie little swagger to her walk. she is all girl from head to toe with her hair done, earrings in, skirt on and she loves it all. Likes to smell pretty flowers and it is one of her first words (flow for flower). Quite different than I thought she would be. If you have known me since I was little you would know that I would have given my right arm to be a boy.... literally I cut my hair short, refused to wear girl clothes and the whole nine yards! after having to BOYS I am welcoming the girlie things in life and enjoying her God given femininity.

Born one year ago today too short, too brief, I want more. We didn't get you long enough to celebrate your Birthday or watch you learn to walk. A 1st Birthday has so many things for us to look forward to. Instead today I am left feeling like I just wanted more...more time...more cuddles....more feedings....more of Kherington. Our family is going to the beach to remember you and the precious time we got with you. We will ALWAYS be different because we knew you....We will ALWAYS be different because we lost you. Colton, Clay and Isabel all called and sang Happy Birthday to you today. When they were done we all sat down and had a good cry and cried out to the Lord in prayer. It's so hard for us to comprehend death. We know you are with the KING of KINGS having more fun than we can imagine. The day we enter HIS presence will be so sweet and renewing, we know you will be there. We often feel like we are wondering down a path with no clear direction. the pain, the sorrow and grief... it all feels like to much. Then the Lord comes and shines HIS light on the His path for us. His Word is the only Comfort and hope we can find. Isiah 53:3 ..."that He was a man of sorrows and familiar with suffering"

Psalms 30:5 "The nights of crying your eyes out give way to days of laughter."
