My big talker!

Well Clay is 17months and is talking so much I just wanted to write down the things he is saying before I forget! clearly and pronounced he can say- ball cat doggie tractor byebye nightnight momma dadda water cookie stuck shut bear milk car truck book bath towel fish no ok deer cow pig horsey papa grandma tickle tickle eyes nose toes hot cold baby fast! whale shark duck bug snake swing Pressy socks shoes shirt and almost any other three to four letter word you ask him to say. the words he tries but you have to guess are cidicycle=motorcycle moomoo=movie foo=food done done=all done side=outside fourwawa=fourwheller col col= Colton and many attempts at everything he see's. those are the most common clay-isms we hear. it is so fun to communicate with him and he is so eager to learn everything. he doesn't want to miss out on what big brothers doing and saying!

ULTRASOUND!!

well we had our big ultra sound today! they had a new 3-D machine that they used on us, which was really cool! everything looked perfect on the baby and the appropriate size and shape. It was so amazing to see the dimensional picture of our little peanut! the baby was crossing it's legs and sucking it's thumb, very cute. the profile looks a lot like the boys did, a very familiar look to the baby. so funny how even in the womb they look like siblings! the technician that was working with us said that the baby was so photogenic that she wants me come in the next couple of weeks for them to practice the new machine on me! so we may have more pictures to come! here's a couple to sample! I think it looks like a girl, what do you think?

the umbilical cord looks like a necklace!
see the feet kinda sticking out into space?
see the little legs crossed!

Sick season

well the season has come early this year. My boys are both fighting something this week! it's been kinda nice having Clay sleep so much, but now that I am ready for them to be well Colton is fighting the bug. not much to do this week so we are just laying low. Clay is cutting three mollars so he has been telling me "teet hurt" (teeth hurt). he has had a bad headache from the combo of cold + teething. poor little baby. it's nice he can tell me what hurts sometimes. well we are gonna go get all vitamined up! this is just what happens when you go out into public and get germs.

Wildwood

the boys and I headed down to our favorite place to take walks. Wildwood is a park just down the road from our house. the salmon are spawning, so we sat by the river and watched these huge fish swim right in front of us! the boys were very interested and Colton asked some many questions about them we had a science lesson. he hates the fact that they die after they lay there eggs, but he's learning that is a fact of life. we saw a snake and the boys are learning that their mom is afraid of something! even though it wasn't very big, Colton will tell you it was because of how I reacted to seeing it! Clay learned all sorts of new words to say and is picking up everything we say and repeating it! to cute. Colton loves that he is talking, he's a very proud big brother of little Tickle Toe! well David and I are are going out on our first date since July, so I'll write more later! over and out-

Graysen is here!

My best friend Marissa had her baby boy! little Graysen Ryan Marjama is 6lbs. 13oz and is 21 inches long. he is bald and is a little screamer! so cute. he just wants to be nursed or snuggled and warm. He Kept his parents awake all night last night being demanding. Marissa had a text book delivery and everything went smooth for her. she was only having pain in her tailbone, other than that she feels great, just tired! she was induced yesterday around 7am and just progressed steady all day. he was born at 7:49 pm with all his grandparents in the room. what a great family experience! I will post a picture as soon as I get one! I was up there helping make Marissa comforatable until midnight! new babies are so fun! I can't get enough. guess it's a good thing I'm having one soon!

Jamboree

this is a picture of practice
well its official, Colton has played his first soccer game. last Saturday he had a Jamboree with two games back to back. he had a lot of fun and even scored a goal! he is starting to pick up some early concepts of go get the ball and take it down and score. he did steal the ball from a team mate a couple times but I think he will understand it's a team game at some point! we put his name and number on his jersey and he thought that was neat! all the moms got together and ironed on the kids last name and number. we wanted to be different and the boys loved it! so If you wanna catch a game call me and I'll fill ya in on the schedule, he has games on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
