sicky!

well we have not had to much fun to write about this week. we have been down with the cold cough stuff. it's takin awhile to get over it. we did got to Mining Park today and play after lunch out with dad. it turned out to be such a nice day to be outside. We have been blessed with some really nice fall weather! I love the fall when it's not raining. so many fun things to do outside. leaves, salmon in the river to watch, hunting season, still good for bike rides!
Colton has got the chance to go out into the neighborhood and help some of the older couples rake leaves and do some yard work. they love to see the little boys come help and we get the chance to get to know them and share our lives with them. I would say they are not Believers, so I hope these opportunities will prove to be a time to share Christ's love we have with them! Colton is very bold in telling people about the Jesus he believes in and has saved him from HELL. I know older people may not take him seriously but the boy know's his basic's and I hope helps them to think about their future. Kids are so truthful and just don't have the fear that sometimes us parents feel when sharing our faith. rejection is not something he gets from people. they actually have questions and listen to him a bit. it's fun for me to see our life with Christ come out through Colton. I hope this finds you all well and full of the Life God has for you!

brush your teeth before bed!

here's a couple fun pictures of the boys being Brothers! they were being silly brushing there teeth and dressing up in costumes.

wild indian!

Colton's cousin Rhett turned five and got a bow and arrow for his birthday. Colton talked about it for days, so he took his piggy bank in and bought himself a bow and arrow to shoot. he picked it up quick. it has a rubber tip so he can shoot it in the house without hurting any of us. he has been setting up his toy bucks and shooting them down. it's a great past time for a rainy day! we stopped by the Sportsmans warehouse on Sunday and he got to shoot a real bow. the guy that worked there was impressed a four year old could pull back every bow he gave him! he even hit the target in a "kill" area! well this could start a new type of hunting in our family. I can tell it's giving him better hand eye coordination. well that's what we do for fun in the woods!

punkin patch!

well i don't have the pictures back yet but on friday we ent to the pumpkin patch. my friend cassiday met us there with her two little girls. we had a great time. we went to liepolds in boring. they are getting a great little place for kids. we went early before anyone else and got there and good thing. those places are quite popular. they had a great little corn type sand box that clay loved! Colton loved the giant blowup tunnels and ball pit, that is until a kid ran into him and gave him a bloody nose! that was our cue to go pick pumpkins and go. the boys were so into picking just the right pumpkin. it was funny watching them try to carry them. I'll post the picks as soon as i get them!
