Merry Christmas and happy new year! I have been so busy! we had a great christmas with both our families. we had everyone up to our house on my side of the family for a day in the snow. all the men with the older kids went up and sledded and all the women with the babies stayed at my house. we had a great day and then headed to my sisters for the rest of the weekend. my whole family stayed at my sisters Saturday through monday. we came home to snow! it was so fun to have it snow for Christmas! it just makes it seem really like Christmas when it's white! It continued to snow for the next couple days and was a lot of fun to play in!
then for Christmas eve we went to a great candle lite service at Greater Gresham. Clay sat throught the whole service like a little sweety! we woke up Christmas morning and had a short family time with just the four of us and then headed to David's parents. Our boys are at really fun ages! It was the Best Christmas for us so far! very relaxing and great to reflect on Chirst's Birthday and what that means for all of us! we had plenty of great food and gifts and Thanking God for our friends and family.
For New years we had Preston my brother and his family out to spend the night and play cards. and my parents joined us also! we played cards into the new year and then woke up and watched our sweet little kids play together. we had subsandwiches and then everyone went home for nap time! It's great to have family you like to hang out with. we are very lucky to have all our siblings so close to us! they are our life long friends.
well after the Holidays of course we all came down with a cold and feeling tired. we are now trying to find a rental house and move here in few days. I think we found a place to rent and the packing is going slowly but surley! I am trying not to get stressed or to tired, so that makes the packing go slow. no rush we have a week! evidently we may have some delay with closing due to the buyers of our buyers house. they are having issues and hopefully that won't affect us much. we need God to help us with the timing and getting all the details worked out!
well stay in touch and we will be in sandy soon! Later gotta go clean.

busy
well we have been getting more and more busy! I thought I was suppose to rest the last 7 weeks of pregnancy?! oh well no time for that! I have been starting to pack and find a rental house. I have to go look at those this week and get one nailed down so we can start moving in a couple weeks. I am so thankful we can wait to move till after Christmas.
I had a little set back on monday. I was trying to get Clay down for a nap at my mom's when her broken stairs decided I needed to be on the ground. yes it broke the rest of the way free while I was coming down. so I landed on wood stairs right on my backside. the one I have been having work done on trying to feel better. I have a really bad nerve in my back hip area that makes it hard to sleep, heck even walk! so the nerve was getting better until the fall! stupid stairs. so the week of trying to get ready for Christmas and packing was delayed a day while I made sure I didn't have any bad injuries. well saying all of that I am feeling sore but nothing to serious. hopefully I can get "someone" to rub my back a little more often, if you know what I mean.
David and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on Saturday. we had fun going out to Claim Jumpers and then off the purchase a video camera. then we headed to Sandy and caught a movie before going home. we had a fun time alone.
well the boys are up from nap so I'll update the next time I get 5 to sit-

trying to get a tree

for those of you havent seen david's truck this is it. oh by the way it's for sale!
well we had a good Sunday. The boys were to sick again to go to in the church nursery so we did church at home. the boys were so glad to cuddle daddy and listen to the bible. they love to sit and follow along in there little bibles. we left the house because someone came to look at it. (it's still for sale) we had snow on the ground so it was a good day to come and look at it. then later we wnt to try and get a Christmas tree. it rained so hard Clay and I didn't even get out! we ended up turning around and going up to Govy for sledding in snow instead of rain. I guess we will get a tree another time! the boys had fun even though we had to be in the truck for a while. just riding in daddy's big bumpy truck in the snow was so exciting for them. Clay was yelling FAST,BIG,SNOW and BUMP! the whole time we were diving up lolo pass rode. Colton is a sledding machine. he is so fun to take places. he was just bombing down the hill and running back to the top as fast as he could. he even rolled and flipped off the sled and came up laughing, even if it hurt a little. we ended up coming home and getting the boys in bed early. Hopefully they will get over the cold soon. I swear this has been a season of colds for us since september! stinks, but hey at least we haven't had the flu! yet...

Snow!!

well it has been a while since I have been able to blog. my computer was getting worked on again! hopefully it's going to stay working well. so on Sunday night we got a couple inches of snow!! it was so fun to see and play in. we made two Snow men and enjoyed the cold for once! Clay was to young to enjoy it last years, so we had a good time with it on Monday showing him all the fum things boys can do. Colton actually was able to build his own snow man his height. he was pretty excited about it. all the snow is basically gone except in the shady area's that never seen the sun and our snow men! we have been getting ready for thanksgiving today by baking my first batch of crescent rolls. they turned out so good! I was a little worried about my baking skills, usually it takes me one mess up and then I figure it out. not this time, it was a success baby! so now i will make some cookies and pumpkin bread. maybe some jello salad? yum. so i am heading to my sisters tommorrow and then David's family on friday. should be able to get a little early shopping accomplished on friday. gotta get those good deals for the family! wells here's to a great Thanksgiving to come and hopefully no sickness to follow! later-

sicky!
well we have not had to much fun to write about this week. we have been down with the cold cough stuff. it's takin awhile to get over it. we did got to Mining Park today and play after lunch out with dad. it turned out to be such a nice day to be outside. We have been blessed with some really nice fall weather! I love the fall when it's not raining. so many fun things to do outside. leaves, salmon in the river to watch, hunting season, still good for bike rides!
Colton has got the chance to go out into the neighborhood and help some of the older couples rake leaves and do some yard work. they love to see the little boys come help and we get the chance to get to know them and share our lives with them. I would say they are not Believers, so I hope these opportunities will prove to be a time to share Christ's love we have with them! Colton is very bold in telling people about the Jesus he believes in and has saved him from HELL. I know older people may not take him seriously but the boy know's his basic's and I hope helps them to think about their future. Kids are so truthful and just don't have the fear that sometimes us parents feel when sharing our faith. rejection is not something he gets from people. they actually have questions and listen to him a bit. it's fun for me to see our life with Christ come out through Colton. I hope this finds you all well and full of the Life God has for you!
