Our life at a peek

we just love this little sweety!
they are so proud of her

my grandma and aunt came to visit and see Isabel Clay loves to sit in her bouncy chair with her
well swimming is going so good. Colton is a fish. he loves it and Clay is learning a lot from watching the other kids in pool. Clay is getting brave and more relaxed. Colton is learning to float and how to listen to the teacher even when everyone else is not! that's tough to do, especially when you have a boy trying to push you under and drown you! and it's the teachers son, I love how that works. he's there for free reeking havoc on everyone who is paying! well don't worry I went over and stood by the pool and helped my son's politely say no THANK YOU! and then get away. it worked this time. and then Colton and Clay hugged once they were safe, so sweet. This is why I started out in private lesson's.

busy week

this is Kristi and I with our babies. Mary Beth was born 12 days after Isabel. they will have so much fun growing up so close together! and they will live right down the road when we finish our house.

well I have made my life a little busier! I have finally started getting Colton singed up for a few classes I have been wanting to get him in. we started a soccer class last week and swim lesson's for him and Clay this week. they are enjoying it so much! it was cute to see Clay be in a class and try to follow directions! they both love the water so I knew they would be great in a swim class. This is a new thing for Colton also, just being in a class and having to follow directions. he likes to show off what he can already do. by the end of thirty minutes he was getting the whole be quite and follow directions part of this class. it's so nice to have someone else show him how to do something for once. and he loved the interaction with a new person/teacher. hopefully we start violin soon!

I have got Colton helping with the dishes and laundry so I can get things done quicker. he really enjoys helping and feeling like a "big worker" as he would call it. Clay is not quite ready to help. he in fact is the messer! he came into my room this morning after having a messy diaper and had it all over his hand! thanks Clay! I will starting potty training soon, maybe next week! no joke, it's gotta be done, having two in diapers just for the last three weeks is to much for this mommy! and at meal time he is really diving into his food! literally he is so messy and just tears every bit apart trying to make it the right texture to eat. oh well at least he eats what I make and isn't to picky. just a mess!

My poor little Isabel woke up with a cold yesterday. I feel so bad for her. she is sneezing and coughing a lot. she seems a little better today, so hopefully it will pass quickly. she is just a sweet little gift from above! we are still just in awe of the girl God gave us. I just got her pictures done this weekend and will post them up as soon as I can get them scanned. My great friend Marissa threw a shower for Isabel and I this last Sunday. It was fun to see some friends I haven't seen in a while and hang out with my family. we got a great selection of cute clothes from everyone. oh girl clothes are such a fun change from the usual john deere and carhartt type boy stuff. and thanks to everyone who had given us a meal, gift and hand-me-down stuff! what a help it has all been! Thank you everyone! time for NAP-

the boys

I found this picture of David and my sisters two older boys. they love there uncle David!

getting back to swing of things

well Isabel and I had our two week check ups last Thursday. we both are doing well. she is up to 7lbs 10oz and has grown an inch! she is sleeping good at night and is nursing good. finally all the pain is almost over. nursing hurts so bad at first and I am finally come out of that. she is awake briefly during the day and had been giving me some good stretches of sleep at night. The boys are over the cold/flu thing they had and are much happier and so am I! we are trying to get back to normal and start up our home learning stuff again. Colton is very eager to learn what ever I can teach him and Clay tries to be in the middle of everything. Colton starts a soccer class tonight and I am trying to get a Spanish tutor going. trying to get motivated and not just stop and play with the baby all day. she is just the sweetest and we all could just lay on the floor and stare at her. but we must accomplish things! so here's to getting the house work done and cooking!! hey it's a task with three under the age of five!!

three kids = some caose!

so looking back on Monday night I can laugh now but I felt a little teanse at the time. My brother had stopped by to see the baby and she was going through a little time of wanting to nurse all evening. so trying to give her the binki was a joke. My brother was holding her and I had sent Colton back to get on his PJ's. I walk back to check on him and as I round the corner he Vomit's all over himself and his PJ's in his hand. then Clay, sitting right next to Colton, says "brother??" and then just breaks out into tears and hysteric's. It scared him so bad to see Colton get sick. then Isabel starts into a good cry for mommy. David and I just looked at eachother and didn't know who to help first! so he took the boys on and I grabbed the baby. soon all was clean and calm, but wow I for the first time felt like I didn't have enough hands! I'm glad David was here or I would have sat down on the floor and joined the crying! so we have had a few of these type of moments this week since both boys are sick. I guess God just wanted to break us into this "parents of three" thing hard so I feels easier next week when I'm all alone? oh well the boys are ajusting well if they could just get feeling better. and the baby is giving me some sleep at night. good girl! Happy Valentines Day!
