potty training

well I have to say for just turning two in May Clay is doing well. he is going 100% of the time with number one and just yesterday learned number two. the potty part was very easy for him after the first two days now we just gotta get the poo 100% and all will be happy. good job Clay!

happy birthday COLTON!

we had great fun filled day for Colton's Birthday! we got up this morning and made a traditional Birthday breakfast of waffles and berries with whip cream! and then we headed out to the zoo. Colton has been really into Dino's and the zoo has a new exhibit so went to check it out. He had a great time despite there was a million people there! then we stopped and saw all his Grandparents. we had a steak dinner out at Farm Grandma's and then head off to fish and pick raspberries. He almost caught a bull Frog. you will have to ask him for the full story! Happy Birthday to my big 5 years old! and no he's not going to Kindergarten! it's our joke. he is always asked if he's excited about going to school this fall and he always says "well we do school at home all the time" he thinks it's funny everyone always asks this question!

Raising Godly Tomatoes!

so my mom gave me new book to read and I am loving it! It is a parenting book called Raising Godly Tomatoes. you can go to the authors web site to buy one or check out her parenting tips right on the site, it's www.raisinggodlytomatoes.com . it's a very good refresher for me and is easy reading. it's fun to read about people who are dealing with the same struggles and pleasures of parenting you are! anyway I recommend it! when I'm done reading let me know and I can lone my copy. I'll be done next week!

on a second note, I am potty training Clay this week and the book is a good secondary thing to be working on with him. he is about 50% for staying dry. not bad for the second day. wish me luck and prayer would be a huge blessing! thanks ya'll
