School

The kids and I joined a homeschool co-op this fall and did some school with other families. I was fun to meet new peolpe doing what we do everyday and gave Colton an opportunity to learn some things I have not taught him about. He took and knighthood class, Cowboy art and Around the world where he studied a different part of the world each week. here are the kids on the first day of school-

The fall was very busy and I did not have any time for this blog. Being and effective mother and wife has prooved to be all I chose to put myself into. I would still like to post a journal of what we have been up to! so lets start where we left off.....
at the end of summer we headed for camp morrow! it is one of the best places to be for our family. we all love it and get to enjoy it each year!  then we come home and go right into the soccer season. David coached Clay's team this year. The boys both had a great season.

I will have to post a soccer pic in the next post.... my blogger wont load it

the first race!

the boys got to enter in there first four wheeler race on August 21 st in Albany Oregon. David and his dad also raced and won 2nd place for the sport class. these are just one hundred yard drag races so the boys have to learn how to race with lights. They both did well but Clay needs some time to figure out the light tree and when to take off.  here they are showing off the bikes and trophies! Behind them is the track were it all took place. poor Isabel had the flu and threw up while we were there.... so mom took all the kids home and got them cleaned up while daddy got to stay and race. It was a fun time for David and his dad and of course the boys as well!

Birthday at the Beach

Well we had a great time at the beach with my sister and her family and my parents also. We were there to remember our short time with Kherington, who would have been 2 August 13th. It's hard to imagine what she would be like at two....but we had fun thinking of it! we enjoyed telling some fun memories about her and showing the kids some pictures. We laughed and cried and spent the time together as a family. Here are some new memories we made on Kheringtons birthday...
