Camp Morrow!

well as a family we have been going to camp morrow since I was 2! it is a beloved place by all who attend. it was the 25th year and we had lots of fun. we pulled our camp trailer over to have our own private sleeping place. that worked out well. the boys had a ball with there all the cousin's and fun activities to do. here are a couple pictures to put you at our camp trip! we did a 200 ft. water slide that colton and rhett as 4yr old came down. they are very brave! and horse rides, fishin, swimming, riding bikes, ice cream, and lots of boats. it's a boys paradise!
Colton and rhett fished a lot together! good fishin' buddies

Swimming

well It was a beatiful day and swimming was the main event! we swam for three hours and the boys were loving it. Colton can swim the width of the pool under water all by himself. it's so fun to watch him get good at swimming without any floatations. clay was sitting next to him on the side of the pool and they both put up there diving arms and dove in together. so funny! I will get a picture of it next time!

clay wants me to let go of him and let him swim. he wants to be like big brother so bad!

soccer time!

Colton started soccer today. we had the first practice and he was so excited. we have a team of six, which is nice. I think he may pick up some skills. David and I are really excited and love to practice in the backyard with him. He loves to get on his shine guards and cleats and run!! He thought practice was great. they basically run them a full hour with the soccer ball. next week we will start practices with his coach. today was just a orientation to get to see who's on your team and get uniforms and sign release forms. He thought it was great! it was every kid in his age group out on the field running. he just ran around with a smile on his face trying keep his ball from getting stolen. I was designated the team MOM, so I will be in charge of organizing everything from snacks to fundraisers. well I will post the schedule when I get it so you all can come watch him RUN!

Clear Lake

Well we finally did it! my sister and I planned a trip with our families and took it! we went camping up at Clear Lake on Mt. hood. It was so fun and relaxing to get away and just enjoy the kids. The days consisted of getting up with a fire and making a hot breakfast. with five little boys you can imagine how much food we had to cook! And then little clay feels the need to eat all the rest of the day! no joke just ask Regina! I should have never taught him the sign for FOOD!! Oh well it's cute. then after the food we would head down to the lake for some fishing. we never caught a thing. But Rhett and Colton never stopped trying! they cast out there little line all day. they loved it. Clay got better at throwing rocks in the water. he loves to throw rocks, esecially into water. every time he got a good slash he would yell , UUUUOOOOHHH! the only down side of the trip was the wind that came up late in the day. But saturday was calm and the water was glass!
Then the boys headed off the catch bugs and ants. they started an ant war, some of them would collect carpenter ants and some would collect fire ants. then they would put them in a bucket together and see who lived the longest! very exciting when Christian is involved! he let every one know the play by play. so fun!
My dad came up one night and ate dinner with us and played some cards. then the adults sat around the camp fire and had a good chat with dad. my mom is in california with Grandma for the month, so dad is all alone. but I think us four kids keep him company droping by and inviting him places. anyway we enjoyed sharing some time with him.
well I hope everyone is able to get out and enjoy the outdoors with there kids while the weather is warm!

We drove down to wild life safari in southern oregon. it was so fun! we went down that way for a race David competed in. I recommend going to wildlife safari if you down in that area. we wish we could have spent the whole day there. we didn't get to see the elephant show and have a ride on one which we could have if we didn't have to leave by noon. oh well maybe next time. Colton was in heaven getting to see the animals so close! here are some great shots of the wildlife and a couple at dad's race. tata far now!
