three kids = some caose!

so looking back on Monday night I can laugh now but I felt a little teanse at the time. My brother had stopped by to see the baby and she was going through a little time of wanting to nurse all evening. so trying to give her the binki was a joke. My brother was holding her and I had sent Colton back to get on his PJ's. I walk back to check on him and as I round the corner he Vomit's all over himself and his PJ's in his hand. then Clay, sitting right next to Colton, says "brother??" and then just breaks out into tears and hysteric's. It scared him so bad to see Colton get sick. then Isabel starts into a good cry for mommy. David and I just looked at eachother and didn't know who to help first! so he took the boys on and I grabbed the baby. soon all was clean and calm, but wow I for the first time felt like I didn't have enough hands! I'm glad David was here or I would have sat down on the floor and joined the crying! so we have had a few of these type of moments this week since both boys are sick. I guess God just wanted to break us into this "parents of three" thing hard so I feels easier next week when I'm all alone? oh well the boys are ajusting well if they could just get feeling better. and the baby is giving me some sleep at night. good girl! Happy Valentines Day!

my baby

well I am just falling more in love with little Isabel every day. she is a great little baby so far. we had one bad night of two hours of sleep for me, but she redeemed herself last night and only woke up once! wow I felt like a new me this morning. but on a down note both the boys are sick now and that is challenging to deal with when you can't physically discipline them or pick them up or any of the needed actions of a mom. having a c-section is hard to go back to normal life the first two weeks. I can't drive, lift, cough, pick up laundry, bend over or anything straining to my mid section. just everyday things put more strain then I ever thought on the incision. so on a good note I have my mom to help, but a bad note is she is sick. so I am just praying that Isabel and I don't come down with it or the recovery will be a bit longer! we have had some wonderful people bring us some meals and that is a huge help at the end of a day. well I am off to bed!

WE GOT OUR GIRL!

well we really did it! we had a little sweet girl! Isabel Grace was born Thursday morning at 8:46am. she was 7lbs6oz and was 19.5 iches. she is the sweetest little thing ever! we are enjoying her a ton. the boys can't get enough of her! they are really loving being big brothers with a new job of taking care of sister. I can't believe how different it is for us having a girl! we are just feeling an overwhelming sense of being blessed with healthy happy kids! thanks to everyone who has come by and visited and called us, we are feeling really loved by you all! After some rest I will write asap and post more pictures. these are just from my mom's camera. c u later

Going under the Knife!

well here we go! in the morning I am going in for a C-section! I am getting really excited and anxious. we go in at 6am and they are supose to be starting at 8:15. here's a couple pictures from Clay's pregnancy and newborn pictures. it's fun to remember back to the past deliveries. well I will post up what we have soon! later-

Winter wonderland!!

one of the Hardest things for me about leaving Welches was leaving the snow! we have had a great year for snow and I was so sad to leave it behind! then to my suprise we woke up in Sandy on sunday with 8 inches! we still have it and we got two more this morning! I am to pregnant to play out in it, but it just brings out a good feeling in me. David took Colton out for three hours sledding yesterday and they built a snowman that was like 8 -9 feet tall!

let it snow all WEEK!! I love it!

here are the dresses Aunt Coby had made for Jaime Lynn and Bri Ella. they looked so cute in them! We gave all the little boys pop guns!
Colton is thanking Grandpa for the wonderful Lincoln Logs he built him! Dad made all the little boys Lincoln Logs with there initials on each one. they are giant and build a great cabin with a garage. very cool gift!
on Christmas eve we all sing Christmas music and the kids play insturments. we all love it.

My Dad made a rocking horse for each family! we all had one growing up that was excatly the same. Dad just used the pattern to make all the kids one!

The boys are getting to the age where they do a lot together. I had fun looking back at the last couple months of things they enjoy together.

they are having there morning Bible reading time. I sit and read to them out of the Bible and they follow in there childrens bible's.

it is Colton's job to unload the clean dishes. he is teaching Clay how to help with the silverware.

Oh he is such a funny boy! he is looking out the window for daddy! he loves boots right now as you can see. he even laughed at the picture and said it was funny whne I showed him! he won't laugh at it forever!
